Reverse description Two large adjacent oval shields of arms — the Saxon and Polish-Lithuanian arms — crowned by a single royal crown and flanked by palm branches. The denomination 1/3 appears in an oval cartouche at the base between the two shields. Mint-master initials appear to the lower sides of the shields (IL and H visible on the 1699 issue). The date is divided to the upper left and right of the crown, with the legend DUX SAX S R I MA ARCH & EL around the periphery within a beaded border.
