Obverse description Central field occupied by a large quartered shield of arms, displaying the heraldic devices of Brunswick-Lüneburg, surmounted by an ornate electoral crown. The escutcheon incorporates multiple quarters featuring rampant lions, a horse, and an inescutcheon, rendered in fine baroque relief. The mintmaster's initials H and B appear in the field to either side of the shield. The encircling Latin legend runs along the entire periphery of the coin, separated from the central device by a plain border, with a milled edge visible at the rim.
