Reverse description Elaborately quartered heraldic shield of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp surmounted by a large ducal crown, with the date split on either side of the shield flanking the mintmaster's initials CR. The complex arms incorporate multiple quarterings including the lions of Schleswig and Holstein, the nettle leaf, and the Stormarn horse, rendered in high relief. The legend arcs around the upper field reading DUX H S D CO D, referring to the ducal titles. A beaded border frames the entire composition.
