Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Duke Christian of Saxe-Eisenberg facing right, wearing a long flowing wig with elaborate curls characteristic of late 17th-century baroque portraiture. The duke's cuirass is partially visible beneath a lace cravat. The circumferential Latin legend reads CHRISTIANUS D.G. DUX SAX IUL CLIV ET MONT, identifying the ruler by name and his ducal titles. The portrait fills the majority of the coin's field, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The coin features a milled edge border.
