Obverse description Draped bust of Charles XI facing right, wearing a laurel wreath adorned with feathers, with long flowing hair falling over the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late Baroque manner typical of Swedish coinage of the period. The circular legend reads CAROLUS XI D G REX SVEC GOT VAN, separated by small ornamental stops. The mint master's initials DS appear in the lower field beneath the bust truncation. The inner border is formed by a fine beaded circle.

Reverse description Crowned quartered shield of Swedish Pomeranian arms, supported on either side by two standing griffins as heraldic supporters. The elaborately detailed coat of arms displays the quarters of Swedish Pomerania within a shield surmounted by a royal crown. The surrounding legend reads MONETA NOVA ARGENTEA DUCAT POMER, with the date 1674 appearing in the upper portion of the field. The denomination numeral 1/3 appears in the lower exergue, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
