Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Elector Charles Theodor facing right, wearing a flowing powdered wig with curled locks. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque court style, with elaborate lace cravat and armor visible at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads D·G·CAR·TH·C·P·R·S·R·I·A·E·L·, divided by the portrait, running along the milled border.

Reverse description The elaborately quartered and crowned coat of arms of the Palatinate Electorate occupies the central field, displaying multiple heraldic quarterings including the Bavarian lozenges and the Palatine lion, surmounted by an electoral crown. The date 1748 is divided on either side of the shield, flanked by the mint officer initials F·O. Below the shield, within a cartouche, the denomination 2/3 appears, flanked by the inscriptions FEIN and SILB. indicating fine silver content. The circumferential Latin legend EX VISCERIBUS FODINAE WILDBERG· runs around the border, referencing the Wildberg mine as the source of silver.
