| Obverse description | Draped bust of Anna Sophia of Pfalz-Birkenfeld facing left, her hair elaborately dressed with curls and adorned with a decorative headpiece. The effigy shows the abbess in contemporary court attire with a lace or beaded necklace visible at the décolletage. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style typical of late 17th-century German coinage. The circumferential Latin legend reads ANNA SOPHIA P B R H I B A Z Q G Z V V S, separated by pellets, running along the milled border. |
