Obverse description Draped bust of Duke Albert III facing right, wearing a full curled periwig with flowing locks and armored shoulders partially covered by a mantle with a beaded clasp at the chest. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detail characteristic of late 17th-century German coinage. The surrounding legend reads D. G. ALBERTUS III. DVX. SAX. I. C. M. A & W, separated by decorative stops, running clockwise within a beaded inner border.

Reverse description Central ornamental cross with four small capped heraldic shields set in the angles, each bearing the arms of the ducal territories. An oval cartouche at the top of the cross displays the denomination value. The date 1694 appears at the beginning of the legend, which concludes with the mint official's initials HEA flanked by crossed ingot hooks, referencing Heinrich Ernst Angerstein. The legend NACH DEN LEIP ZI GER FUS indicates the Leipzig monetary standard.
