| Obverse description | Forepart of a horse prancing to the right, rendered in a vigorous archaic style characteristic of Thracian coinage. The animal's musculature is boldly modelled, with the mane indicated by fine incised lines along the neck. The horse's head is raised and turned slightly, with alert ears and open mouth. The design occupies the full flan, with no inscription or border, the field left plain. |

| Reverse description | A large bunch of grapes suspended on a vine with curling tendrils, centrally placed within a dotted square border. The grape cluster is rendered in fine relief with individual berries clearly delineated. The magistrate's name is distributed in the four quadrants around the central design: ΕΠΙ above, ΖΗ to the right, ΝΩ to the left, and ΝΟΣ below, reading as ΕΠΙ ΖΗΝΩΝΟΣ, referencing the magistrate Zenon under whose authority the coin was issued. |
