Reverse description A tripod, the sacred symbol of Apollo and emblem of Knidos, depicted centrally on the reverse field. The magistrate's name ΑΡΙΣΤΟΚΛΕΙΔ appears to the left of the tripod, while the ethnic ΚΝΙΔΙΩΝ is placed to the right, identifying the issuing city. The design follows the standard reverse type of Knidian silver coinage of the Hellenistic period, with the tripod rendered in clear, linear engraving. The legends are in Greek script and are well-struck despite the small module of the flan.
