Obverse description Prow of a war galley advancing to the right, rendered in archaic relief with characteristic parallel oar-banks and a prominent ram at the waterline. The hull is depicted in profile, showing the sweeping upward curve of the bow and the structured timbers of the vessel's forward section. The design fills the flan with bold, sculptural confidence typical of early Lycian coinage. No legend or inscription appears on this side.

Reverse description Stern of a war galley to the right, set within a shallow incuse square as was customary for early Greek silver coinage of this period. The curved stern post rises elegantly above the hull, and the multiple parallel lines of the oar-banks are clearly articulated in relief. The ethnic abbreviation ΦAΣ (for Phaselis) appears in Greek characters within the incuse field, confirming the city of issue. The overall composition is compact and well-centred within the recessed square boundary.
