Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis Astyrene facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elaborately coiffed hair swept back and secured, individual locks and braids rendered in crisp relief. The face displays serene, idealised features with a prominent eye, straight nose, and gently parted lips characteristic of fourth-century Greek die-cutting. A pendant earring is visible at the ear. The field is plain and unlettered.
