Obverse description Bearded male head, identified by the legend as Leukippos, facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head with an elaborate plume and crest rendered in fine relief. The hair is depicted in tight curls around the temples and beard. A control symbol, theta (Θ), appears in the left field. The legend ΛEYKIΠΠOΣ is inscribed in Greek characters around the upper right field.
