Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in a naturalistic Roman provincial style with finely detailed curled hair beneath the laurel wreath and a slightly draped left shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The Greek legend encircles the portrait along the periphery of the flan, reading partially around the obverse field. The portrait exhibits strong, individualistic facial features characteristic of Trajanic coinage, including a prominent brow and defined jawline.

Reverse description Draped bust of Marciana, sister of Trajan and Augusta, facing right, her hair elaborately coiled and piled atop the head in the fashionable Trajanic court style, with long locks descending to the nape. The bust is rendered with fine drapery folds at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend names the city of Anazarbus and identifies Marciana as Augusta, while the date formula in the exergual area or field records regnal year 126 of the local Caesarean era (ϚΚΡ), corresponding to 107–108 AD.
