| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Moesian bronze coinage. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic youthful features with a laurel wreath firmly set upon his head. The circumferential Greek legend reads AV K M AVP ANTWNINOC, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, as typical of provincially struck bronzes of this period. |
