Obverse description Head of the local nymph facing left, adorned with a wreath, rendered in a relatively broad, bold style characteristic of Sicilian bronze coinage of the late 4th century BC. The hair is loosely arranged beneath the wreath, with individual locks visible around the neck and ear. Three pellets appear in the left field, serving as denomination marks for the tetras. The overall execution reflects the workshop tradition associated with Campanian mercenary issues at Katane.

Reverse description A small owl standing to the left with its head turned to face the viewer, rendered in a compact, frontal style reminiscent of Athenian numismatic influence. The feathering of the body is indicated by stippled pellets arranged across the breast, and the large, prominent eyes are clearly delineated. The legs and talons are visible at the base of the figure. The reverse field is plain, with no surrounding legend, consistent with the aniconic brevity typical of Sicilian bronze subdivisions of this period.
