Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with paludamentum visible on the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Trajanic portrait style of the Alexandrian mint, with the laureate wreath clearly indicated. The Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading AYT TPAIAN CEB ΓEPM ΔAKIK, identifying the emperor with his titles of Augustus, Germanicus, and Dacicus.
