| Obverse description | Diademed heroic bust of Strato I Soter portrayed from the rear in three-quarter view, the king's right arm raised and extended in the act of hurling a spear, with an aegis draped over the left shoulder. The dynamic composition conveys martial vigour in the Hellenistic tradition. The encircling Greek legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΣΤΡΑΤΩΝΟΣ, identifying the king as 'Saviour' in the formulaic royal titulature of the Indo-Greek court. |
