| Reverse description | Apollo Delphios seated left in the nude upon an omphalos, his right hand raised and resting on a grounded bow, his left hand at his side. The god's posture is relaxed yet commanding, consistent with the standard Seleucid reverse type introduced under Seleukos I. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ to the left flank the central figure vertically. Control marks and symbols appear in the lower field beneath the omphalos, and the composition is enclosed within a dotted border. |
