Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Seleukos II Kallinikos facing right, the royal diadem tied with flowing ends behind the head; the king is depicted with short, neatly trimmed beard and idealized Hellenistic portraiture. The hair is rendered in fine, layered waves beneath the diadem, consistent with the refined die-cutting style of the Nisibis mint. The field is smooth and unlettered, with the portrait occupying the full flan in the grand Macedonian tradition.
