Obverse description Celticized effigy of Apollo facing left, the head rendered in the characteristic La Tène abstract style with deeply modeled facial features. The hair is elaborately styled in bold, segmented locks arranged in overlapping rows, conveying a strongly stylized, non-naturalistic treatment derived from Hellenistic prototypes. A three-strand pearl diadem encircles the head, each strand rendered as a row of raised pellets. The neck and chin area are simplified into broad, sculptural planes, and the overall composition fills the flan with pronounced high relief.
