Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Cornelia Salonina facing right, her hair elaborately waved and bound with a stephane, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The effigy displays fine detail in the coiffure, with horizontal ridged bands arranged across the crown. The Greek imperial legend encircles the portrait, reading from the left field around the upper periphery and into the right field.

Reverse description Standing figure of Eirene, the personification of Peace, depicted full-length facing left and draped in a long chiton and himation. She raises her right hand to present an olive branch and holds a long transverse sceptre in her left hand. A palm branch leans leftward in the left field, serving as an additional symbol of peace and victory. The regnal year numeral appears in the right field, identifying this issue as year twelve of Gallienus's reign.
