Obverse description Jugate busts of Sarapis and Isis conjoined, facing right. Sarapis is depicted laureate and draped, wearing a miniature atef crown upon his forehead, characteristic of his syncretic divine identity. Isis appears immediately behind, draped, her head crowned with grain ears and surmounted by a miniature horned solar disc above the forehead. The pairing of the two deities in profile presents a formal, hieratic composition blending Egyptian and Hellenistic artistic conventions.
