Reverse description A rider on horseback advancing to left in the Philippsreiter tradition, rendered in the highly stylised Celtic manner derived from Macedonian tetradrachm prototypes. The pseudo-legend IΛIΛ appears above the horse, with the letter Λ placed before and below the horse, and a crown or floral ornament depicted between the horse's front legs. The horse and rider are rendered with bold, schematic lines characteristic of late La Tène Celtic coinage of the Burgenland region. The field is otherwise plain.
