Obverse description Diademed and bearded head of Philip V facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair and a prominent royal diadem. The portrait displays a mature, idealized Hellenistic style with strong facial features, deep-set eyes, and a full, carefully articulated beard. The neck is slightly truncated below, and the overall composition fills the flan with characteristic Macedonian royal portraiture of the late 3rd to early 2nd century BC. The field is smooth and unlettered, with the effigy positioned centrally on the slightly irregular hammered flan.
