| Reverse description | Winged Nike standing to the right, depicted in the Hellenistic manner with flowing drapery, her right hand extended forward holding a wreath. The figure is rendered in low relief against a plain field, with the wings spread behind the body. A Greek or Kharosthi legend may appear in the surrounding field or exergue, consistent with Indo-Parthian reverse types attributed to Orthagnes. |

| Additional information |
Orthagnes ruled a contested stretch of territory in the eastern satrapies — likely Drangiana and Arachosia — during a period when Indo-Parthian authority was fracturing under pressure from the Kushans pushing south and west. His coinage is poorly attested, and the Zeno cataloging of these pieces reflects how much of this series remains unresolved in the scholarly literature. Copper tetradrachms of this type circulated in regions where Greek monetary conventions had long outlasted any Greek political presence.
