Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Orodes II facing left, wearing a distinctive tiara adorned with a row of dots along its base, with long curling hair rendered in deeply cut wavy locks falling to the shoulder. The king displays a short, neatly trimmed beard. He is draped in a decorated garment with a beaded torque at the neck and dotted ornamentation across the chest. The portrait is set within a beaded border, reflecting the Hellenistic artistic tradition maintained at the Parthian court.
