Obverse description Draped bust of the eponymous nymph Kyme facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The hair is elaborately coiffed, drawn back from the forehead in wavy locks secured by a taenia, with a large rolled bun at the nape of the neck. The facial features are delicately modelled with a gently incised eye, softly defined nose, and parted lips, reflecting the accomplished die-cutting of the Kymaean workshop. The neck truncation is plain, and the field is smooth and unlettered.
