| Obverse description | Draped bust of the eponymous nymph Kyme facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The hair is elaborately coiffed, drawn back from the forehead in wavy locks secured by a taenia, with a large rolled bun at the nape of the neck. The facial features are delicately modelled with a gently incised eye, softly defined nose, and parted lips, reflecting the accomplished die-cutting of the Kymaean workshop. The neck truncation is plain, and the field is smooth and unlettered. |
