| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Numerianus facing right, depicted in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The effigy is rendered in low relief with a broad neck and simplified drapery over the shoulder. The surrounding Greek legend reads A K M A NOVMEΡIANOC CEB, identifying the emperor with his imperial titles.
