Obverse description Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Numerian facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style. The imperial effigy displays layered drapery over the cuirass, with the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads Α Κ Μ Α ΝΟΥΜΕΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait execution is consistent with late third-century Alexandrian tetradrachm workshop practice, with slightly irregular flan edges typical of hammered provincial coinage.
