| Reverse description | An eagle stands facing left with wings spread, perched upon a thunderbolt, its head turned back to the right in the classic Seleucid and Julio-Claudian Antiochene tradition. A palm branch rises to the left of the eagle, and a small palm frond or branch appears to the right. The lower field features a wreath enclosing the date legend. The reverse is enclosed within a dotted border. The Greek legend ΕΤΟΥϹ ϚΙΡ (Year 116, corresponding to 67-68 AD in the Caesarean era of Antioch) appears in the lower exergual area within the wreath. |
