Reverse description Plain incuse square divided into four equal quadrants by a raised cruciform framework, forming the characteristic mill-sail or quadripartite incuse pattern typical of early classical Thracian coinage. The recessed compartments are flat and unornamented, reflecting the archaic hammered technique in which the reverse punch was impressed into the blank to secure it during striking. No legend or additional device is present.
