Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of Syrian provincial coinage. The emperor is depicted bearded, wearing a paludamentum over segmented cuirass, with the laureate wreath clearly visible encircling the head. The legend runs around the periphery in Greek characters. A beaded border frames the entire design.

Reverse description Eagle displayed, standing facing with head turned to the left and tail also to the left, wings fully spread in a heraldic posture. The eagle holds a wreath in its beak and between its legs a bull's head or bull's horns motif is visible, a distinctive emblematic element found on Phoenician provincial tetradrachms. The Greek legend is distributed across the field, with a beaded border encircling the entire reverse design.
