| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left on a backless stool-throne, his body nude to the waist and draped from the hips, holding a long sceptre upright in his left hand and extending his right hand forward upon which an eagle stands with wings closed. In the left field, a monogram within a wreath and the forepart of a lion facing right serve as mint or magistrate symbols; an additional monogram appears beneath the throne. The reverse legend in two lines reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, identifying the issuer as King Lysimachus. |
