| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great in right-facing profile, wearing the horn of Ammon curving behind his ear, a divine attribute asserting his divine lineage. The hair is rendered in thick, flowing locks swept back from the forehead in the characteristic Lysimachean portrait tradition. The facial features are idealized yet expressive, with a strong jaw and prominent brow. A dotted border frames the design, and the flan shows the broad, slightly irregular fabric typical of Hellenistic hammered coinage. No legend appears on the obverse. |
