Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated left on a throne, wearing a crested Attic helmet, draped and armed, holding a small winged Nike in her outstretched right hand and resting her left arm on a large round shield decorated with a lion-head device. A long spear leans against her left shoulder. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ to the left frame the central figure, with the mint control letter Φ and the monogram ΔΜ (for Magnesia ad Maeandrum) appearing in the left field. The composition follows the standard Lysimachean reverse type derived from Athena Parthenos iconography.
