| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander III to right, rendered in the idealizing Hellenistic style with flowing, wind-swept hair. A prominent curving horn of Ammon rises from the temple, signifying Alexander's divine association with the Egyptian god Zeus-Ammon.
