Reverse description Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, depicted in full panoply with crested helmet; her left arm rests on a large round shield decorated with a gorgoneion, while a long transverse spear is visible in the background to the right. A winged Nike perches on Athena's outstretched right hand, crowning the divine figure. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ appears to the right of the throne and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ to the left, identifying the issuing king Lysimachus. A kerykeion (herald's staff) appears in the inner left field, and a bee symbol occupies the outer right field as a mint or control mark.
