| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style. The hair is shown in thick, flowing locks swept upward and back, secured by a royal diadem. A small curving horn of Ammon projects from above the ear, signifying Alexander's divine association with the Egyptian god. The facial features display the characteristic upward gaze and slightly parted lips of the Alexander portrait tradition. The design is surrounded by a dotted border. |

| Reverse description | Athena Nikephoros enthroned to the left, wearing helmet, chiton and aegis, her left arm resting upon a large round shield set against her side, with a transverse spear visible in the background. A figure of Nike perches on her outstretched right hand, crowning the royal legend. The Greek inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ runs vertically to the right of the throne, and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ to the left. A lion head device appears above the monogram KO in the inner left field, and an additional control monogram is engraved on the throne. The composition follows the standard reverse type established by Lysimachos for his royal coinage. |
