Reverse description Standing figure of Herakles facing, depicted nude with his club resting in one hand and the Nemean lion skin draped over his arm, in the Hellenistic tradition. The figure occupies the central field of the flan, rendered in a bold but stylised manner characteristic of early Kushan provincial workmanship. A Kharosthi legend encircles the design, identifying Kujula Kadphises as ruler of the Kushans.
