| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-transitional style with carefully engraved wavy hair gathered at the crown and secured with a laurel wreath, the locks falling in tightly articulated waves behind the neck. The portrait displays a strong, idealised profile with a prominent nose, well-defined lips, and a sharp jaw, characteristic of the high artistic output of the Damastion mint. The surface of the field is plain and unlettered, with the portrait positioned centrally and commanding the full flan. |

| Reverse description | A tripod lebes with two prominent legs and a cauldron rendered in high relief occupies the centre of the field, flanked by the ethnic legend of the Damastinoi arranged around the design. The inscription ΔΑΜΑΣΤΙΝΩΝ runs horizontally along the base of the tripod in bold Greek letters, while KΗΦΙ appears vertically to the left, referencing the magistrate or engraver Kephisophon. The overall design is bold and schematic, typical of the coinage of the silver-rich mining community of Damastion, with the tripod serving as the city's principal reverse type throughout its coinage. |
