Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V facing left, the king depicted with a long, elaborately rendered beard and wearing a torque at the neck. The diadem ends trail behind the head. To the right of the portrait, a star-in-crescent symbol appears above an anchor, both serving as dynastic and royal emblems characteristic of Elymaic coinage. The portraiture is executed in the distinctive degenerate Hellenistic style of the Elymais kingdom, with bold, schematic relief. The flan is irregular, as is typical of late Elymaic hammered issues.
