| Obverse description | Diademed, mature bearded bust of the king facing left, rendered in the late Hellenistic tradition with naturalistic detail. To the right of the portrait, the forepart of a horse facing left appears as a secondary device in the field. A rectangular incuse countermark is applied, depicting Nike standing left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm frond in her left, consistent with a Kamnaskires IV administrative re-validation mark. The portrait exhibits a full, heavy beard and the diadem is rendered with trailing ribbons. |
