Obverse description Conjoined draped busts of King Kamnaskires III and Queen Anzaze facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with the royal couple presented in overlapping profile. An anchor symbol, an emblem of Seleucid dynastic heritage, appears in the left field behind the busts. The portrait style reflects the blending of Parthian and Greek artistic conventions characteristic of Elymaean royal coinage of the late second to early first century BC.
