| Reverse description | Pegasos rearing to the right, depicted with powerful musculature and large, outstretched wings, the forelimbs raised in dynamic rearing posture. The Greek ethnic legend ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ arches above the figure in the upper field, identifying the issuing civic authority of Antiocheia-on-the-Maeander (Alabanda). Beneath the winged horse, the magistrate's name ΙΣΟΚΡΑΤΗΣ is inscribed in the lower field in clear Greek majuscules, serving as the eponymous magistrate identifier for this issue. The design reflects the Pegasos iconography widely adopted by Carian civic coinages of the early second century BC. |
