Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with deeply carved flowing hair and full beard. The laureate wreath is detailed with individual leaves and berries, sitting prominently on the deity's head. The portrait displays strong, idealized facial features characteristic of Macedonian royal coinage of the late 4th century BC. A beaded border encircles the entire design within the coin's field.
