Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing, tousled locks secured by a broad diadem. The prominent ram's horn of Ammon curls distinctively above and behind the ear, referencing Alexander's divine association with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait displays idealized youthful features with a straight nose and slightly parted lips, characteristic of the Lysimachean coinage type. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with the effigy occupying nearly the full obverse field with no surrounding legend.
