Obverse description Facing right, the youthful head of Herakles in three-quarter relief, wearing the lion skin headdress with the scalp pulled over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the throat. The facial features are rendered with fine detail, including a prominent nose and full lips. The surrounding border consists of a raised dotted circle (beaded rim). No legend appears on the obverse, consistent with the standard Alexander-type coinage.
