Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros seated in three-quarter view to the left upon a high-backed throne adorned with decorative bobbin-shaped legs and dotted ornamentation. The god is depicted as a mature, seminude figure draped from the waist, extending his right hand to hold an eagle perched facing left, while his left hand rests upon a tall scepter. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field and lower exergual border, reading 'of King Alexander.' The control mark NO appears in the lower central field between the throne legs, and a small civic symbol of Sikyon is visible in the left field, consistent with Price 708.
