Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros seated left on a throne, his upper body bare, holding a long scepter in his left hand and an eagle (aetos) perched on his extended right hand. The composition closely follows the standard Alexandrine reverse type. The ethnic monogram ΞEN appears in the left field, with ΟΔΗ (denoting the issuing city of Odessos) also present. The legends ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ to the left run vertically along the coin's periphery in Greek characters.
